Brake lights and parking lights reversed---easy fix 200 1989

While checking over my newly purchased 89 244 for inspection, I found an odd problem---the brake lights and parking lights were reversed, that is, the small filament in the 2 filament bulb would light when the pedal was pushed, and the large filament would come on with the headlight switch. Fortunately, the solution turned out to be quite simple. I noticed that one of the bulb sockets was white, unlike all the others, which are black. On a hunch, I swapped them, and things were back to normal. I suspect the previous owner had them both out at the saem time, and put them back on the wrong sides. The correct orientation is easy to remember---WHITE on the RIGHT.
