240 transmission surging 200

I own a 89 Volvo 240 Dl with an automatic transmission (approx 135,000 miles on it). Yesterday if starting to surge or buck for some reason. This problem only happens at speed over 65 MPH, under this speed the transmission shifts and goes through the gears fine. I checked the transmission fluid level and it was good. The rear shaft bearing was replaced about 3 months ago, the fluid is pink in color, not burnt or orange in color. If anyone can help me with this problem you would be a god send, thanks.
