A/C TROUBLE CODE 900 1997

Andy,

The dual operating vacuum bellows that the tech is referring to is the Floor/Dash vent (Blue/Yellow vacuum lines). If it is malfunctioning, it WILL NOT set a code in the HVAC system (blue flashing snowflake). You will loose air coming out of the dash vents on medium & up acceleration. But a bad sensor may, such as the passenger's side Sunlight sensor. When the sun light sensor, senses direct sunlight, the AUTO A/C function is supposed to provide more airflow/AC to the upper dash area (dash vents and maybe even the defrost vents). That's all it does.
