Valve cover gasket on B234F 700 1990

Hey all,

I am replacing the valve cover gasket and plug seal on my '90 745 with a B234F. I have read that some sealant is needed on certain parts of the gasket to keep it from leaking. Would a sensor safe RTV silicone be appropriate for this? What parts of the gaskets need the sealant? Is it only needed on one side of the gasket? Sorry if these questions sound stupid, as using sealant and gaskets is new to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, since I would like to repair this correctly the first time. Thanks.

Best regards, Jon 'Uncle Olaf'
