B-18, M40 and other odd bits 444-544

The M40 transmission is essentially a "bolt" on for all of the 544's and Duetts. Only the non-import models had a 3-speed offered.

I would shy away from the B18 engine. They are readily available at reasonable cost and from the sounds of this one, it has had years of rain and other wet stuff flowing down the exposed oil galleries into the interior and bottom end. I wouldn't trust it for anything other than a boat anchor or scrap iron.
