E-brake routing on multilink? 900 1991

Just got a 91 944ti with multi link rear, cable going to left rear is rusted thru and looks like cable that should connect to brake handle cable is hanging, altough this is hanging at the rear suspension area also. Has a rubber boot on it and a connector with a pin thru that but no connecto the pin... How is the cable system routed from the car interior to the multi link final destinations..... TIA tom27940aholic
