shifter linkage issues 200 1989

well.. i recently replaced the clutch in my stickshift 240dl. and when i put it all back together, i accidentally forgot to torque one of the driveshaft bolts. so the bolt came lose and knocked my shift linkage out of place. there is a guide pin that connects the linkage to the transmission with a sleeve around the shaft that the guide pin goes through. i was wondering if that sleeve is supposed to be one solid peice, because right now its split, but i cant tell if thats how its supposed to be. thanks!
