1986 240 is it ok to go from 10w 30 to 5w 40 200

hi quick question

i have been running mobil one 10w-30 since I bought my brick 120,000 miles to now 190,000 miles and changes oil about every 5,0000 miles or less

now I would like to change to shell rotella fully synthetic 5w-40

my car has no current leaks and does not burn oil

will this change do any harm... north carolina climate

or should I just stick with what I have been doing.

I have been using the rotella in the other cars a 1996 volvo 960 and a 1997 chevy 454 suburban...
