Shutter during acceleration 120-130

Hey everyone! Well my father and I just finished driving the Volvo home yesterday. We drove it a thousand miles from Boise to New Mexico and took a great drive through the mountains in Utah and Colorado. I'll post details and pictures of the car later but right now I am trying to fix a shutter that has developed during acceleration. For the first day of the trip we didn't notice a problem. However, yesterday we quickly noticed that the car would shutter at lower RPM levels, especially in first gear, and considerably in second gear as well. Once we reach about 40 or 50 we don't notice anything. I hate to drive it like this especially when I do not know what is going wrong. Any ideas?????

We also lost a lot of break pressure in the mountains yesterday but since we couldn't find any leaks we think a seal in the master cylinder might be leaking.
