Brakes: Caliper Pins 700 1992

This my 5th volvo, and the first time I have had this style of brakes, which I guess is Girling.
Haynes manual is of no value.
One of the slide pins will not slide. How do I free it?
I think I prefer the other style of brakes. This Girling style has this inherent design problem in that it is prone to corrossion, which leads to other issues.
Back to the main question: How have you successfully broken loose a pin that won't budge?
