MPG on 122s? 120-130

I averaged 35 mpg (imp gallon) in my injected B20E over a 2000km trip a couple of years ago. I think my worst was 27 and that was beating on it hard hard. My best was over 40. I saw 40 on a couple of other short trips that summer as well. Now that the engine is tired, I don't get much over 30.

Keep in mind this is a programmable injection system and I've got it leaned way out at cruising speeds; something that's a little tough to do with 99% of the cars in the forum.

Volvos aren't terribly famous for great fuel economy. My B23E powered 242 never does much better than 27 on the highway. I'd likely get 30 if I could keep the speedo under 120 but that's no fun. I don't think my 245Ti ever got 27. I know the wife's 760 turbo doesn't get that. We'll see what the new (to us) 960 does...
