I typically get in the upper 20's to very low 30's on the highway.

The best mileage I ever got was when I had an overdrive installed on my sedan with the 4:10 rear and stock tires; 36mpg on a trip from Michigan to West Virginia. Note that the car could only get up to about 85 mph in 4th with overdrive with that combo; I kept the speed under 65 for the entire trip.
