Tape residue GONE!!!---what got it off?? 200 1989

91% Isopropyl alcohol, which is similar to rubbing alcohol, but stronger. Took it right off. Dash looks like new again (except for all the big cracks) I remembered today that rubbing alcohol works to remove pine sap from cars, so I though I would give it a try. All I had was the 91% stuff, which may be necessary for this application, because it took a fair bit of rubbing with a paper towel soaked in the stuff to get the heavier deposits to come off. The regular rubbing alcohol might not be strong enough. An old toothbrush worked nicely to get it out of the crevices in the texture.

245DogWaggin----you should try this on your fender.
