240 reverse lights 200

Hi

The reverse lights of my 240 is not functioning. Upon checking, bulbs are ok, fuse is ok but there is no current running on the reverse light terminals. Someone on the forum suggested to check on the solid blue wiring connection socket/plug on the left side (driver side) center console and try tapping current direct from another source, still no reverse lights. test light showed current running on the blue wire but does not reach the reverse lights. What seems to be the problem?

Also, the BFWR remains on upon turning on of the park lights. Front park light bulbs, rear park light bulbs and brake lights are of the same brand and wattage for both left and right. All terminals/bulb holders were also schecked for solid contact. Despite all these, the BFWR remains on.
