Anyone know LH2.4 system? Conversion from Pre-LH2.2 to 2.4 200

Seems like there are some conversions going on with installing LH2.4 systems on to LH2.2 cars, but seems that there is a problem with converting from Pre-LH2.2 cars(i.e. LH2.0/LH1.0/K-jet/carb)due to Pre-LH2.2 cars not having a impulse signal from the rear axle/speedometer. The error that occurs is code 3-1-1 "vehicle speed signal missing" which makes the car not run right.

Question:

-Is there a way around having a speed signal with a LH2.4 system? (i.e. trick it!)

-Is there a way to produce the correct speed signal without the speed sensor in the rear axle? (i.e. digital convertor/piggy backing onto the flywheel sensor or adding a sensor)

I think the input pin on the ECU for the speed sensor is pin 34.

Paul
