M41 rattle question 140-160

Hello,
I think planetman might be on it. If this M41 has a short shifter as post 72 140's do.... it could be the remote shifter assembly. There is a worn out brass bushing that holds a shifter rail assembly on top of the M-41. I saw this in two 140's 25 years ago.
