HELP!! Gas Gauge & Speedo are Crazy! Need Pics. Help me save my 740 from the Crusher 700

I have a 1991 Volvo 740. The speedo and the gas gauge are erratic. Sometimes the speedo works then it won't. The cruise control does the same thing, sometimes the cruise will work even if the speedo doesn't work. The gas gauge will peg out,then show half a tank then back up to full then down to 1/4 then down to empty. No ryhme or rythm to this behavior. I've already changed out the gauge cluster and the new cluster is doing the exact same thing. I'm at my wits end. If I can't get this fixed I'm going to burn it. Please help I know that some of you have had the same problem and have been able to repair this so what was the solution??? I've researched the FAQ 700/900 on this problem and I've checked the ground in the drivers kick panel. Replaced the speed sensor at the differential. Any other suggestions? If you have pics of any of your suggestions that would be great. Thanks, Help me save my 740!
