egr vacuum controller replacement? 700 1992

Hi,
I have what I believe is a failed EGR vacuum controller. I arrived at this conclusion by its resistance reading showing an open circuit (should be 85 ohms) and no vacuum created when I ground the circuit. It's pretty expensive so I was wondering if this might be a common part that could be ordered for another car for much less, sort of like the o2 sensor. Any ideas? The controller is made by Aisin and has volvo part number 3531138.
Thanks,
Kevin
