Free to a good home 200

We find ourselves in an odd position where we have to move from Davie County NC to Raleigh NC for a new job. Now I am faced with a dilemma.... I recently started the engine tear-down of a 92 B230F that had around 200K miles on it. The plan was to convert it into a B230L+T, but never made it that far due to the job situation, for me this is sad, as I wound up selling the previous B230+L+T motor I finished for good money rather than keeping it for myself.

Now, for condition of the engine:
Head is off, needs a re-face and if you want, it would be a good time for a valve job. Face warp is around 0.003" diagonally. According to specs, its still good, but in my mind, it needs to be better.

The valves are still in the head, cam is out, ZERO wear.

Believe it or not, cylinder bore measurements indicate that no boring is needed, there is no evidence of ring grooves... this was a very well maintained engine!

Pistons are probably fine and the same goes for the crank and rods... still in the block.

The engine ran perfectly before pulling it.

If I had to guess, there are two types of folks that might be interested:
1: Somebody that needs to have a new engine for their daily driver and are willing to throw a gasket set at it and a head re-face.

2: Somebody that needs excellent raw stock to build a monster red block for a boosted application... I am serious here, there is virtually zero bore wear on the cylinders... nothing a hone job wouldn't resolve!

We are located in Advance NC just 20 miles west of Winston-Salem, NC, so if you are interested, come and get it soon (within the next two weeks would be great), otherwise, I have no other option than to send it to the scrap heap. I believe the scrap heap would be a serious waste of excellent Volvo Iron.

Once again, I have no reason to over-hype what I am selling (duh) because I'm not selling anything! I am just trying to prevent the destruction of a perfectly good engine and help someone out in the process! If you whine loud enough, I might even throw in the engine stand.
