Problem on initial start up. I think this is a SU question 444-544

Sounds like the back carb may be flooding. Might check to make sure the valve
is tight in the lid of the carb and that it doesn't have a speck of dust or
something in it. Might be worthwhile to check your fuel pressure also. If it
is over 3 psi you have the possibility of pushing the float valve open.
While you are at it make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks too.
