Headlight Gremlins (Related to Radio?) 900 1994

So this is my first thread on here, Brickboard was recommended to me by my guys on The Samba VW Forum.

94 Volvo 940 Wagon, came with the stock tapedeck. I picked up a Blaupunkt deck and some new speakers for it and went to go install them today figuring it would be pretty straightforward, I had no clue about the separate amp for the speakers until I was pretty deep into the project. I ran out of time before I had to leave for work and figured I'd finish the job Monday on my day off.

I started the car and went to go turn on the headlights, the running lights work fine when it's in the middle position, but when I switch it one more click to the headlight position I get nothing, the gauge lights turn off as well. I didn't have time to play with it because I was in a hurry so I just took my girlfriend's Bel Air but I was wondering if there was something in the stock radio wiring that ties into the headlights, or if odds are I just jiggled a wire loose somewhere.
