Dash lights problem - relay/fuse panel (repeatable) 700 1989

Hi all

I changed the fuel pump relay and resoldered the OD relay the other day in my 740T but after I installed them, the dash lights became problematic. I think some connection is loose behind the combined panel, so when it's in a certain position, the dash lights work, and then goes out again. I have to manually jiggle the cluster slightly forwards and backwards to get the dash lights working.

Can anyone tell me where the dash light wiring hooks up to behind the relay panel so I can check the specific connection, or what else could possibly be causing this problem? The dash light dimmer works ok when the lights are on. All other electricals work fine even when the dash lights are out.

Appreciate any tips. Thanks!

Lucast
