In an earlier post, I told how I had rounded one head bolt on my 95 960. Well, here's the aftermath. I finally got the blasted bolt out, but not without destroying the head and many drill bits, and my back doesn't feel so good either! I have a recon head to use so I was already resigned to not using the head. Now I just have the issue of the two broken bolts left in the block. See the two short ones in the pic. Right now they are soaking in PB blaster until I feel like attacking them. Any suggestions? I'm thinking reverse drill bits, though I've never used them before. Have never had luck with easy outs. So, now your day doesn't look so bad does it? Ha!
