While head is off ... 200 1983

My B23F head (off newly acquired wagon) is off being milled and checked for cracks. While I'm waiting for the head and and Elring gasket kit to arrive, I want to address as many other issues as possible while they're easily accessible.
This is my first head so I don't want to get it back together, then realize I could have taken care of something else while it was right there in front of me. I know there must be something on this subject in some other thread, I couldn't find it, though.
Flame trap is one, I pulled it apart and not only was it clogged, some joker had removed the filter. Appreciate other thoughts ... Jim
