after much mulling, I too went the route of the conversion - IPD doesn't have them anymore - I got a conversion kit + rebuilt MC from voluparts in Georgia (I'm in Seattle). Just came in yesterday - will try to get it in by the end of the week. Seems like a pretty straight forward installation, though if you have any tips that a first time installer like me may overlook, let me know.
