Help, my electric seat is stuck! 900

I started working on the brick this weekend. 1994 940 Turbo with electric seats. The list included a few minor odds and ends, and one of the first things was to swap out a long broken electric seat adjustment switch. I grabbed a new switch panel from the jy, and moved the seat as far forward as possible to yank the panel. I rotated and removed the panel, unplugging it from the seat ECU, then plugged in the new unit. However, there is no motion.

Thinking I purchased a bad unit, I plugged the old one back in. Still no motion. I grabbed a spare seat ECU from a working car and swapped that in, with no result on either switch panel. I took my test light and ensured power was going to the ECU, which it is, but what gives?

What can I test for? How can I reset the seat's ECU? What about just getting the stupid thing to manually move from the forward most position so I can at least drive the damn car?

I hate electric seats....Sigh.

Anyone wanna trade?
