Overdrive Light Won't Go Off!

I took the instrument panel out the other day to replace the odometer gear. That is when I noticed that the single wire that runs to the lower right corner to the overdrive arrow light was connected with a Red/White wire and there is a Yellow/Red wire that is in the same area but is not connected to anything.

I read on one of your older posts that the 87a connection on the relay is a yellow/red wire which I looked at my relay and it is connected at 87a with a yellow/red wire. So I am wondering if the previous owner had the instrument panel removed at some point and reconnected the wrong wire when he put it back together. Perhaps the yellow/red wire that is not hooked to anything is what I need to connect to the overdrive light instead of the red/white wire.

Any ideas?
