Horn Issues - Switch Removal 900

Hello! My '93 940 Turbo has suddenly developed what appears to be a common problem with these cars: my right side horn pad doesn't work. The left one is fine, but the right one feels stiff, and you need to apply lots of pressure for it to work. I am assuming a bad contact beneath the horn pad. Other posts suggest a worn out pad or corrosion. They all say that the cause should be obvious once the pad is off... Hence, how can I remove the right horn pad??? I have tried pulling outward, but stopped fearing I was going to break any plastic retainer inside. Are there any screws? I really do not feel comfortable removing the steering wheel, as I have no experience with SRS...

Regards
