Fuel hoses and clamps 700

I'm trying to pull my sender unit out to change a dead prepump, and I haven't been able to get very far as the fuel hoses seem to be stuck = obviously I'll need to cut my way through. The hose sizes appear to be 5/16 for the return line and 1/2 for the main line. The problem is that the Goodyear 1/2" hose sold at Advance is J30R7 rated, and the description says to use J30R9 for fuel injected systems - and hoses with that rating in that particular size seem to be made out of unobtanium.

So, what's the consensus here, suck it up and go to the dealership or use the J30R7?

Also, any tips on how to remove rotten hose clamps without damaging the hose would be appreciated (yes, the filler neck hose).
