Oil pressure How much should I have? 200 1985

My low mileage 85 wagon 2.3 NA normally runs on the highway at a little over 4 Bar on the gauge. At idle (warm) the guage shows between 2 and 3 Bar. Some of the cars that I have seen have a gauge that only allows a 3 Bar reading, but mine is a 5 Bar gauge. I have checked the true pressure with an adaptor and a mechanical gauge (psi) and at 2000 RPM with no load on the engine, the gauge showed over 65 psi, and at idle the gauge was between 35 and 40 psi. What's the deal with the two gauges, and is my pressure above where it should be?

Bill
