Another thing I replaced today on my 745 was the airbox thermostat. The original turned out to be crusty with corrosion and stuck in the halfway position. I also replaced the foam gaskets. I used the remains of the original ones as patterns and cut them from a leftover piece of headliner fabric. Not sure how long that would last, but it's still better than the crumbling originals.

Driving it after this and IAV cleaning I immediately noticed that my idle was smoother. At $9, this was a cheap fix and very worth it.
