Car died, won't crank 200 1990

Oh Oh,

This morning my 1990 240 auto sedan died. It was being driven at low speed, bucked a bit and quit. It now will not crank. I'm not sure, but I think the starter relay is trying to engage. Power to lights, etc is OK. The battery is less than 9 mos old. I triedd a spare ECU, no difference. I disconnected the AMM, no difference. The Fuel Pump Relay is about 2 years old.

Could this be the crank position sensor? Should the car crank even with a bad CPS?

The car has about 160K.

Any ideas?

TIA
