turbo idle - what is ideal 200

My 84 turbo idle has always been high, around 1200, so I lowered it to around 900 and now, since changing to synthetic oil, the oil light comes on at the new lower idle. Of, course when driving no problem. I like the low idle, (my 740 NA 2.3 idles at 700 for comparison), but do not like the low oil light which corresponds with new Mobil 1 and 900 RPM (my oil pressure is 1 bar at idle, 3 bars cruising). Thanks for any insights on this strange issue.
