Anybody got a Hot-Spark setup? 120-130

Hot Spark

We've seen these around for a while now. It seems to be the poor-man's pertronix electronic ignition. For me, the dizzy requirements are kinda steep - one-piece, right-hand pivot points, some even require a clockwise spinning dizzy ( no volvo like that...). I'm presently inquiring with a friend about getting a proper dizzy...

Before I drop the reasonable $40.00 on one, do they work??? Do they last? any pros/cons? Is this just like the perlux/pertronix?

Are the dizzy restrictions real, or can this work on any Volvo Bosch dizzy?
