1969 Exhaust system 1800

I need to make a decision on which exhaust system to purchase: the stock exhaust system or a sport exhaust system (it has a deeper sound) but it does not have the traditional chrome twin tail pipe. The tail pipe would be a single staight pipe. I don't have the ability to retro a pipe to fit the twin tail pipe, and I don't want to bring it to a muffler shop.
