Coil question for my diesel to gas car conversion 200

Okay, here's the deal. I've been trying to figure out why my conversion car won't start. I went to do the test listed on pages 280-8 and 280-9 from the Bentley manual. I got to step #5 and when testing my coil it didn't read what the book said it should. It says to replace the coil. I am using an MSD Blaster 2 coil that's brand new. I'm getting .7 ohms between terminal 1 and 15 (book says 1.1 to 1.3 ohms) and I'm getting 4.47 ohms between terminal 1 and the tower (book says 9600 to 11600 ohms). Does this mean that I can't use this coil? Is there something else I need to change to make this coil work or do I need to fork out for a new Bosch coil? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Charles
