Can't read sensor 700 1990

I did a google search just now and I wasnt able to find much if any info on the green book. I have heard it referred to a few times here and on the other volvo sites. there is a site that I have referred to for 1989 models but the info is incomplete as to labeling some of the devices that are on the page closest to my model. I am not sure what the box #4 is that is in line with the green/white wire from the ect sensor is. I am next going to have to slice open the wiring harness probably to trace the wire back I suppose.
This is the most frustrating car I have ever messed with! I am going to have to keep it forever just top make it all worthwhile..
