'90 240 Vacuum Reservoir 200 1990

When I accelerate or turn the car off I can hear the air rushing into the vacuum reservoir. I've unplugged/occluded hoses and have the problem isolated to the reservoir itself. Using a stethoscope without the probe (tubing only) the leak seams to be coming from the seam in the center (most difficult area to get to of course) that is towards the firewall. Has anyone found a solution to this problem without taking the entire duct system apart? Thanks.
Marlin
