Power windows work - even with no key in ignition

Had some rear 6x9's installed in my 89 240 sedan the other day by a "reputable" car audio place. Besides breaking off a hunk of an otherwise pristine map pocket, they also disconnected my power windows. I found 2 brown wires tucked up above the fuse box, one had a dual-connector (male and female) the other just a female. So seeing that fuse #10 is for the power windows I connect the two wires and then connect them to fuse 10 - viola! windows work again, except now they work even when the car is off, no key in ignition. My obvious thought is the two brown wires don't go together.... but where do they go?
