Does this typically just need a recharge with some R134?

Also, the temp on my car (1993 965) seems to change with the speed that I am driving. For example, setting the thermo at 72 will warm the car up as it should i the morning, but once out on the open road, the temp will drop. I raise the heater up and it will increase but not as it should and not the same as the more manually adjusted thermostat on my 1991 745. Odd.
