Throttle body related stuff 700 1987

Ari..I just went outside and this is what I noticed. At rest ,Like yours, There isnt any tension with the throttle cable nor kickdown cable. i can hold both cables between my finger an move them up and down a little. When i put my foot on the accelerator pedal and push I could not see a detectable lag.Now when I hold the Throttle "pully" and rotate it about 2mm Thats when i hear The TPS clicks. I notice also there are adjustment nuts on the cables. Hope this helps.
