Info on B23F/B230F head swap-out please 200 1983

The older 398 head on my '83 with it's big coolant passages (BCP) caused the early demise of the head gasket. I am looking to replace it with a 530 head with it's small coolant passages (SCP). There are several later model 700/900 series Volvos in my local Pull-A-Part that could be possibilities for the replacement.
If the best candidate turns out to be one of these, how would I plug the hole where the rear-mounted distributor sits? I have not investigated this yet and want to be armed with sufficient knowledge when I hit the yard. Would this plug be something I could take from another junker or would it have to be a dealership part?
I am aware that I would also need to get the valve cover and accompanying gasket that goes with the replacement head. Thanks for any tips & info.
Regards,
Jim
