Chris, you’re in Vancouver correct? There’s a fellow in Everett, WA., Alan Husby, who has done the BW35 to AW70 swap in a 122 and has done a beautiful job of it. I visited Alan to look at his car before my son and I started the M40 to AW71 conversion in what is now Betty (who is undergoing a reverse transplant back to an M41. The AW71 is now in my son's '69). Alan is seen on brickboard from time it time so you should be able to get in touch with him. He has lots of pictures. IIRC no tunnel work was required. He had an adapter made locally to “take the slant out”.
