Alternator bolt question 900

1991, 940 turbo. Bosch 100a alternator.

So i was replacing my sheared alternator belt and decided to do the bushings too. While i was tightening the bolt that holds the bottom end of the alternator (it pivots on this bolt), i broke it. Is this supposed to be very snug or can there be some play with this one? Also, does anyone know the size or a volvo part number for this bolt. M8-1.25x40 sound right?
