Aligning/Toe in? 120-130

I e-mailed you as I'm not sure about doing this by myself and did not find a good guide last night. I will not be able to take this car to a shop until later this coming week.

I searched again today and found a posting about taping the wheels and marking them with a pen. Is that what you mean by adjusting the toe in?

Will that be the same as an alignment job, or is actually aligning the wheels different?.

Given that the center link and tie rods are all that keep the wheels parallel to one another, I'd think that this would be all that the anyone would actually be adjusting (aside from Camber and Caster - which most shops will not play with judging by previous posts)
