Loud Noise from Rear End 1983 240 200

Hello again,
On my 83 240 after driving for more than about 15-30 minutes, when I take off from a dead stop the rear end (emergency brake, axle) gives off a loud metal on metal hum sounds like something turning.

The noise sounds like it's inside a cylinder or large metal tube.

The noise goes away after about 10-15 feet of driving.

Sometimes the noise does not appear, but once it starts it continues usually
until the end of my drive.

Any Ideas or solutions would be appreciated.
