850 wheels on a 240 safely? 200

I saw this in 245waggin's post and it got me thinking...

I have a set of front drive Volvo wheels with new 205/55/16 tires on them. They're my summer tires for the 850.

However, I'm probably selling the 850 shortly, and it'll be going down the road with the tires/wheels that are on it.

The wheels are off of an S60 I think. I bought them at the local tire shop because they were cheap take-offs on a new car.

My first question is can they fit right?

My 2nd question is how safe is it to run the spacers if I need them?

I plan on having the 25/22mm IPD sway bar kit on in a month or so and though I don't drive very aggressively, I'd like the car to be safe if I happen to be pushing things to the limit.

So I'm looking for any insight. Thanks!
