Adding front fog and driving lights 200 1988

Hi guys. I have an 88 240 gl saloon (sedan)
And want to add front fog and driving lights can I just install them like I normally would (feed from relevant light circuit to activate a relay etc) or will this upset the bulb failure warning system if this is the case how do I wire them in. The car is english spec if that affects anything. Sorry if this has been covered before but all my forum access is by wap phone so the search doesn't always behave properly.
