this is a brilliant thread

And well written and engaging. I appreciate the confident, informed tone and the replies are also excellent. It influences my way of thinking--my wife is very interested in switching from her reliable but boring Ford Taurus to a Honda CRV. Granted, a CRV would be cool, and probably more pain-free than a 240. But, she likes 240s and the editorial tone of this thread ("240s now being considered classic and clean examples increasing in value" (or whatever it said...)) makes me feel like looking for one. A clean one, anyway.

As I said, nice, nice thread. Only problem if we sticky it at the top is that its gonna make all the people who drive FWD cars want to switch over to RWDs. 'N then there will be more competition for 'em... ;>)
