gear changes? 120-130

Really? My 64 wagon has a Dana 27 and the 68 has 30. I recall they used 27s in OLD jeeps, Pre CJ-5.

Overdrive is a really good call and much less hassle than havin the gearset set up AND buying a new gearset in the first place. Spell that pricey!

The present differential center case will handle 4:56s and 4:10s. 3:73s an higher require a different case cuz the thickness of the ring gear vs pinion diameter as I recall. 3:31s... Pretty gutless I would think. 4:10s barely pull the hill in my sedan I live on, because it is so rough and I have to go so slow. Rock crawling in a lowered Amazon coupe, oy vey! That's nuts!
